Our Process
Absolutely YES! Imagine your trial as a test run of your look before the special day - a chance to wear the look and have a play with any inspiration ideas you might have. Not only will it give you the opportunity to meet your artist for the first time - test running your look with a professional leaves nothing to chance on what is set to be one of the most memorable days of your life.
Would you recommend a bridal makeup trial?
I am based in the beautiful Queenstown, New Zealand and will travel to your location on your special day. Travel costs are based on your location and distance from my studio. Each destination I allow different time for travel so please get in touch with the location you would like me to come to and I can provide a quote for you from there. I also travel nationally and internationally for beautiful weddings!
Where do you travel to and what is your pricing?
Stocked in my professional makeup kit, I have a variety of luxury top brands - some might include tom ford, charlotte tilbury, giorgio armani, nars, bobbi brown and so many more. Each client has a unique and tailored makeup service where I carefully choose the best products to suit your skin type and the look you want to achieve.
What type of makeup brands do you use?
If you are looking for the natural look but enhanced, I would recommend going with the individual false lashes we use to give you a natural but elevated look, and you can't feel them on at all! If you would like the individual false lashes with your makeup I would also recommend not getting a lash lift beforehand as this can affect the position of the false lashes. Lashes are included in the total charge.
Should I get false lashes before my wedding day?
For peak season wedding bookings, I recommend locking in your date a year out if at all possible. During the spring/ summer season this will be our busiest times and therefore you don't want to run the risk of your date being unavailable. For occasion bookings we can take these within one week of the booking itself - subject to availability.
How far in advance do I need to book?
We would love you to be ready with fresh, cleansed and product free skin - this is so we can tailor our products to suit you and give you the most gorgeous complexion to finish. Facials leading up to your special day are a great idea for getting your skin healthy and glowing naturally. We would love you to have some makeup inspiration ideas in mind - discussing a photo of a makeup look you love gives us both a better idea of the goal we want to achieve. Drink plenty of water leading up to the day and on the morning of!
How do I prepare on the day of my makeup booking?
